Periquita Superior 2017 .:Bottle Content: 13%The history of Periquita dates back to the beginning of Jos Maria da Fonseca's own history, when the company's founder, Mr. Jos Maria da Fonseca, purchased, around 1846, the Cova da Periquita property. It was on this property, nowadays almost swallowed up by urban development, that Jos Maria da Fonseca planted the first grapes of the Castelo variety, which he himself had brought from the province of Ribatejo. The wine produced in Cova da Periquita
